SHUB-2 clei The Single Shelf Hub Card-2 is the common equipment card for the peripheral Shelf Card File which has local switching capability, supporting the advanced traffic management capabilities introduced in Release 3.1. This card configures the Peripheral Shelf to be a 1.6 Gb Stand alone switch. Two Single Shelf Hub Card-2's are required per peripheral shelf (for fabric redundancy) in multi-shelf system.

IP SERVICES CARD (ISC) clei This card enables additional IP functionality on existing interfaces for the 7470 MSP. Dynamic routing using OSPF is supported. 1+1 redundancy of ISCs is supported when installed in adjacent slots and with the use of a Dual Mau (90-6819-01). This assembly contains a Telcordia CLEI (Common Language Equipment Identifier) label.

7470 OC12-2 IR clei The OC12-2 ATM IR Card is a UNI/NNI OC12 ATM interface card operating at the SONET OC12 rate of 622 Mbps, with 32k egress cell buffering per card and advanced traffic management capability. The Intermediate Reach(IR) single mode fiber optional interface has a total loss budget of 12 db. The OC12-2 employs the CPU-2 module for enhanced call performance.

7470 OC12-2 LR clei Identical to the 90-6197-31 except the Long Reach (LR) single mode fiber optical interface has a total loss budget of 24 db.

7470 OC12-2 SR Identical to the 90-6197-31 except the Short Reach (SR) card utilizes a multi mode fiber optical interface. The SR card has a total loss budget of 6 db.

7470 OC12-2 XLR 1550 Identical to 90-6197-31 except the Extra Long Reach (XLR) single mode fiber optical interface has a center wavelength of 1550 nm.

7470 STM4-2 IR The STM4-2 ATM IR Card is a UNI/NNI STM4 ATM interface card operating at the SONET STM4 rate of 622 Mbps, with 32k egress cell buffering management capability. INTEG CALLP/PNNI CARD-2 WITH EPM clei This card provides the functionality of a Control Card, a CallP Card-2 and a PNNI Card-2, all combined on a single card. Two cardsare required for redundancy per 7470 system. This card must be installed in Control Card slots only, and cannot be used in systems that have been configured with CallP-2 Cards or PNNI-2 Routing cards. Node management, alarm, and timing terminations require a control card interconnect panel (CCIP). One CCIP serves both active and redundant integrated control cards. There are two variants of CCIP for US Telco (90-2295-x1) and International (90-2295-x2) requirements. This card is delivered with R6.0 software, a larger SanDisk and with an enhanced Processor Module (ePM).

MID MOUNT BRACKET 13VU This is a mid mounting bracket assembly for the 13VU 7470 Shelves. This package is only for use with the Switching Shelf (90-2181-01), High Speed Peripheral Shelf (90-2291-01), and the Peripheral Shelf (90-4907-01). This package consists of cable management troughs, and 19 - 23 rack adapters.

E1/T1 APS SHELF The E1/T1 APS Shelf consists of a card cage and a backplane which houses APS Cards that work with the 8-port CE cards. The shelf, together with the I/F CARD T1/E1 APS (90-6345-02) and CONTROL CARD T1/E1 APS (90-6346-01) provide N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 7470 by switching the traffic on a failed card to the protection card.

CE - I/F CARD T1/E1 APS The I/F T1/E1 APS Card in combination with CONTROL CARD T1/E1 APS (90-6346-01) and the T1/E1 APS SHELF (90-6344-01) provides N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 7470. Each T1/E1 Card on the 7470 that is to be protected must be connected to an Interface APS Card in the APS Shelf. The Interface APS Cards contain relays to route the traffic to either its regular T1/E1 Card, or onto the panels protection bus where the traffic is routed to the protection card. This APS card is compatible with the T1/E1 CE MAUs.

CTRL CARD T1/E1 APS The T1/E1 APS Control Card in combination with the I/F CARD T1/E1 APS (90-6345-02) and T1/E1 APS SHELF (90-6344-01) provides N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 7470. Each T1/E1 Card serving as a protection card on the 7470 must be connected to an APS Control Card in the APS Shelf. The APS Control Card controls the relays on APS Interface Cards and allows multiple N:1 protection groups to be supported within the same T1/E1 APS Shelf.

OCTAL T1-2 PRI CR W/CPU-2 100 OHM clei This card utilizes the CPU-2 and provides eight T1 ports for Cell Relay(ATM) services on the 7470, with 32k cell buffering per card and advanced traffic management capability. This card allows an optional upgrade module (90-4672-01) to provide up to four groups of ATM Inverse Multiplexing. Physical connection via RJ-45, wire-wrap, or standard 50-pin Telco connector can be supported. RJ-45 connection requires a PRI RJ-45 Distribution Panel (90-2543-01) and associated 8-port cable (90-2767-xx) for each card. Wire-wrap connection requires one wire-wrap MAU (90-2542-02) per card and the 50-pin connector requires one Telco MAU (90-2542-01)per card.

OCTAL E1-2 PRI CR W/CPU-2 120 OHM This 120 Ohm card utilizes the CPU-2 and provides eight E1 ports for Cell Relay (ATM) services on the 7470, with 32k cell buffering per card and advanced traffic management capability. This card allows an optional upgrade module (90-4672-01)to provide up to four groups of ATM Inverse Muliplexing. Physical connection via RJ-45, wire-wrap, or standard 50-pin Telco connector can be supported. RJ-45 connection requires a PRI RJ-45 Distribution Panel (90-2543-01) and associated 8-port cable (90-2767-xx) for each card. Wire-wrap connection requires one wire-wrap MAU(90-2542-02) per card and the 50-pin connector requires one Telco MAU (90-2542-01) per card.

E1 8 PORT 120/75 COAX DIST.PNL The Bal/Unbal BNC Distribution Panel provides 8 external BNC interfaces to the 120 ohm E1 ports of an E1 card. It may be used with any of the following cards: 90-4671-x2 (E1 CR), 90-2541-x2 (E1 UFR), 90-2544-x2 (E1 CFR), 90-2517-x2 (E1 CE), 90-6351-x2 (E1 CR), 90-7277-x5 (16 port E1 FR) , 90-9729-x1 (16 port VoP), or 90-9169-01 (32 Port MS). A D78 cable (90-8269-01 for ESE and 90-2766-02/22 for 7470) connects the line card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port Tx and one for each port Rx. The panel is 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. This panel was changed in 2003 (PCN# 9541) to remove the grounding option in order to comply with the EU 2003 directive for EMC Class B emissions. The outer conductor is permanently tied to the chassis.

E1 8 PORT FA 120/75 COAX DIST. PNL The Front Access Bal/Unbal BNC Distribution Panel provides 8 external BNC interfaces to the 120 ohm E1 ports of an E1 card. It may be used with any of the following cards: 90-4671-x2 (E1 CR), 90-2541-x2 (E1 UFR), 90-2544-x2 (E1 CFR), 90-2517-x2 (E1 CE), 90-6351-x2 (E1 CR), 90-7277-x5 (16 port E1 FR), 90-9729-x1 (16 port VoP), 90-9169-01 (32 Port MS), or 90-9730-01 (32 port VoP). A D78 cable connects the line card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port Tx and one for each port Rx. The panel is 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. The outer conductor is permanently tied to the chassis for EU compliance.
